If this is the case, then my double caramel macchiato, loaded with calories doesn't exist either.

Unfortunately, I can see both of them.

I haven't read the link yet. but I Imagine this was put out by my opponents. That just proves they are getting worried about a face off in the debates ..
Or they don't want the White House painted PINK.

Wonder how they came up with this...Just because the mixture of colors has to happen to create another, doesn't mean the created color doesn't exist

That article is from the UK.. Its probably the fog that is affecting their judgement.

Technically there are only seven colors.. all others are shades or hues of the seven colors. achieved by adding black or white.. or mixing together. such as when you mix green and yellow together. Its by adding the pigments that so many shades can be derived by the basic seven colors. Adding the same pigments in different amounts gives us all the different shades.

So, really I agree. and disagree.. I know there are only seven true colors.. but I would consider a color mixed by using the seven colors to be a color in itself. although technically .. its really a shade.

I think I am ready for that debate now.

I hope I was clear as mud.. You cannot achieve the other colors J. pinks etc. without first starting with one of the seven basics ..
All others are gotten by mixing two or more of the seven basics.. or to get a hue.. adding white or black..

If you took a poodle and bred it with a cocker.. you would not have a poocker.. you would not have a new breed.. You would just have a mixed mutt.

See. told you I was ready for that debate..

You can make any color you want in photo printing, using white light and two colors of filters.

In printing, you can make any color you want by using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. And you don't really need the black.

Seems like everybody has a different set of "primary" colors, depending on their skill or trade or art.

Funny you should mention the magenta. I paint a lot.. and have noticed a lot of my paint for my walls has had that magenta in the mix.. If one would look at the tops of their paint cans .. the formulas they print out at the lumberyards. they can get an idea of the colors etc that went into the mix of the result of their choice.
