I am trying to find a pattern similar to the dress in Simplicity 2894 which is now OOP. Do you know of a pattern that has a dress like the dress in this pattern?

Check EBAy. type in Simplicity 2894 and several patterns come up. they have them in misses and women's . some are brand new. good luck.

Thanks. I found one on eBay in my size but I'm not trying to pay $13 for the pattern. If there is a current pattern that is similar I can purchase it for $.99 at Jo-Ann's or Hancock Fabrics.

These are the closest I can think of:

Simplicity 2635: you'd have to add the collar and pockets and shorten it, but it's got the general shape.

McCall's 6085: you'd have to lengthen this tunic and add pockets, but the collar is closer to what you're looking for

McCall's 6520: even closer - has pockets & collar, but not quite the same.

That's really a cute ensemble. They don't really make that many good looking, plus size patterns anymore. Hope you find one similar.

OOP patterns come up occasionally for reasonable prices - I'd keep a search on at ebay, and you might check ecrater and lanetz living and a few of the other vintage pattern sites. You could also post a Wanted classified here at PR in the classified section.
