Date: 3/11/12 11:51 AM Anyone planning to preorder Quilt Your Stash from Threads? I am thinking about it. 6.99 with free shipping. Don't think I could go too wrong. ------ "Let's make the most of this day"

Date: 3/11/12 12:39 PM Had to go hunting for it, but I found the link Quilt Your Stash
Looks like a magazine-length subset of Joan Ford's book Cut the Scraps. I don't actually own this one (shocking, I thought I owned them all ) but from the Amazon reviews this looks like a rehash of what Bonnie Hunter gives away for free at QuiltVille.
Not that I would ever discourage anyone from buying a book, but I'm curious to hear from anyone who has Cut the Scraps whether there's anything new in it. ------ Tess

Subject: Quilt Your Stash Date: 3/11/12 2:07 PM I too was looking at this book. There are several projects and if you have a lot of scraps to use up, the book would be a great buy at this price. Media mail shipping would probably be about 1/2 the cost of the publication. So there is another savings - free shipping. |
