My next venture is to sew my dd a pair of skating pants and myself some yoga pants. I would like to make these from a bamboo fabric. Any suggestions on good online suppliers for this type of fabric would be appreciated. A northern Wisconsin gal with nearest fabric store over 2 hours away:-(

Try Fabric.com they usually have it in stock. Or, Google bamboo stretch fabrics, lots of hits.

Fabric Mart often has bamboo fabric.

I will caution you, though, that the bamboo fabric I've worked with is not bottom-weight. Bamboo fabric is actually rayon. While it's good for t-shirts, I've not seen any that has the opacity, thickness, stretch, and recovery I'd want for yoga pants. But I don't have a ton of experience with it so there might be some that is made thicker and with more lycra content than what I have.

I concur I originally bought some bamboo fabric to make DH t-shirts and it is too light for a shirt for him. I am thinking about doubleing it to make a t-shirt but I don't know how that will work with the ends rolling like they do.
