Has anyone bought bolts of fabric sold on event planning sites?

They only sell 20 yard bolts (58" fabric), but the cost is about $3 per yard and that is just the amount I use for a ballgown. I don't think that can be beat without heading to LA or NY to the wholesalers. Maybe worth a try? ------ http://bgballroom.wordpress.com to follow the progress on my next ballgown.

I bought a bolt of white linen for about $4/yd in Korea, and a bolt of black tulle for $1/yd at the fabric market in Seoul.
