Date: 3/20/12 5:51 AM Is there a way I can print my pattern stash to take withme when I go shopping so that I don't purchase the same item. I've done that already...
Thank you.

Date: 3/20/12 10:11 AM what you can do is write down each pattern no. in each of the big 4. put it on your computer which will make it less cumberson. then you will have a page or two of your numbers. Then you won't buy another one of the same. Hope this helps.

just like that but put the number in order. that way you can scan on your paper if you have that pattern. -- Edited on 3/20/12 10:15 AM -- ------ Galatians 5:22-23 The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. Date: 3/20/12 10:31 AM Paula, If you go to your Pattern Catalog page here on PR, you will see, just under the red top bar, a line reading 'pieraci2's Pattern Stash (Total Patterns: #)', and then an icon of a printer at the far right.
Click on that icon, and you will get a printable list of your pattern stash to take with you.
My print copy came up sorted alphabetically by pattern company, even though it is sorted in date order on my Pattern Catalog page, so this should make it easy for you to avoid duplicates.
ETA: I checked, and they are sorted by number order as well, within each pattern company, in the PR printout.
Edited again: I was assuming you have already entered your pattern stash into your PR Pattern Catalog. If not, see the Pattern Catalog link on the red sidebar to the left.

Date: 3/20/12 10:32 AM I list all of my patterns by maker (McCalls, Butterick, etc.) in Excel and then print out each list to take with me. Works really well for me because the program can sort them by number, so I don't have to sort them myself.

Date: 3/20/12 12:14 PM pieraci2, Hi! Do you use the wishlist here on PR? That is what I use to keep track of what I am interested in buying. I transfer it from time to time to the pattern co wishlist, or vice versa. The list links with the pattern catalog so you can use them together. Date: 3/20/12 11:03 PM Actually, I can use my smart phone to access the website. I've bookmarked it and I just go to my wish list while in the fabric store. I've also put yardage & notions list, and suggested fabric types too, so I don't have to rely on my memory. ------ So much to do, but having fun trying to do all of it! |
