Date: 3/21/12 2:41 PM So, I received the WRONG fabric in the mail, and due to a long shaggy dog story, I ended up keeping it. It's a nice, spring-weight denim with a smidgen of stretch. This isn't something I'd use to make jeans (just too lightweight for where I live) but I thought that I could make nice trouser-styled jeans from it.
So, since I'm used to heavyweights, and using a jean pattern, I just wanted to double check on this -- if a jean crotch curve is sort of deep, narrow and slanted, then the trouser crotch curve needs to be straight up and wider -- have I got that right? I want to make sure I'm on the right track! ------ Needle Needle Straight and Slim, Dust and Sweep the House for Him! --Grimm Fairy Tales |
