My entry for the Indygo Junction Vintage Modern Design Challenge was based on Option #3, the Free Vintage e-Pattern – Cropped Jacket, but Indygo Junction would also work quite nicely.

The vintage e-Pattern was modified to create a cocoon shaped jacket inspired by 1920’s Italian designer Maria Gallenga.

The winners will be selected by viewer votes posted at:
BurdaStyle

Voting ends 22 March.

The jacket is made from 100% wool and features an asymmetrical front snap closure with black Ultrasuede piping and machine embroidery that accents the neckline, ¾ length sleeves and center back.

The inspired design and easy fit, is as fresh and exciting today as when it was first created. It can be can worn as an evening jacket over a long slinky gown, casual jacket with dress pants or blue jeans.

Design Notes posted on Burda Style Projects page.

You made that? Awesome! That was the one I had voted for! It's gorgeous! I think the cocoon jacket has been underrepresented lately so it's time to come back!

CCCouture's Gallenga cocoon jacket is truly stunning, a true work of art. So be sure to cast your votes for her in the BurdaStyle contest. Note that the voting continues through today and tonight, March 22nd.

Remember you are allowed to vote for more than one entry, and there is more than one prize. So if you've already voted for my Downton Abbey Lady Mary jacket, you can go ahead and vote for CC's. And conversely if you've voted for CC's jacket, you can also vote for mine.

Here are the links to vote for :

Thank you for voting!
