Date: 3/22/12 9:19 AM I've got some ponte knit and am looking for a pants pattern that is not as tight as leggings since the fabric isn't overly stretchy. I've got pattern 6440 but since no one has reviewed it yet, I don't know if I could use the ponte knit or not unless someone knows of a better pattern. -- Edited on 3/22/12 10:39 AM -- |

Date: 3/22/12 2:12 PM I second the McCalls 6404. I just made it out of a camel coloured ponte and love them! They aren't as tight as jeggings, and the ones I made- with the diagonal seaming look great.
Note- the back rise is quite low. Raising it an inch would be a good idea!

Date: 3/22/12 4:45 PM I looked at Mccalls 6404 but after reading a couple reviews here, they said this wasn't the pattern for ponte so I was relucant on buying this pattern. You didn't have problems with using the ponte? |
