How do I add this magical, non-existent pattern?
Apparnetly S0347 doesn't exist.

So I bought a Simplicity pattern this weekend, 0347, part of the Suede Says line. I can't find the pattern here, even with advanced search. I can't find it on Simplicity's website.

The whole line is fairly new.

Am I crazy? How do I add/get this added to the database?

ETA: Snooping around, this appears to be S1896. Unlike the Sew Simple line of simplified, one-view patterns, this appears to be the EXACT SAME THING.

I have a New Look pattern, 0430. But it's really 6001.

Why in the world do companies have multiple numbers for the same pattern? Is there a way to get these numbers linked?

And apparnetly I can't spell apparently...

Some of these patterns have more than one number, especially if it's one of those patterns that are put on top of the fabric drawers in a display. Look at the Simplicity patterns in the Suede designer line and see if you can find the pattern under a different number.

Among the patterns I just posted for sale is Butterick 5047. It was marked B0458 on the envelope, so I wrote 5047 over that!

Sometimes you can find the "real number" on the instruction sheet.

We just added new Simplicity patterns to the site and here are links to the newest SuedeSays patterns:

Simplicity 1816
Simplicity 1817

You can see all the new Simplicity patterns here.

We chatted with Suede when he first came out with his pattern line:

PR Chat with Suede

BTW, here on PatternReview we don't use the letter "S" when we categorize Simplicity patterns, just the number. And when a pattern is issued in another country, it may have a different set of numbers to identify it.

So when you're reviewing the pattern, simply use "1896" in the pattern number field and the correct illustration will come up.

I know we don't use the S/V/B/M here. The issue is that my pattern number is 0347, and 0347 doesn't exist, even when you do an advanced search. Similarly, my New Look 0430 doesn't exist in the catalog either.

Sherril Miller and mary in FL were both correct. These were on-top-of-the-drawer patterns, and the other number was on the instruction sheet (great tip!).

I think it would be great if these on-the-drawer pattern numbers were in the catalog.

I work in the consumer packaged goods industry and I'm just guessing here but the on-top-of-the-drawer patterns may have another number so that they can track what's selling from the display vs what's selling from the drawers. Again just guessing but we look at this kind of stuff because there's extra cost in doing the display and companies like to calculate the ROI. A lot of times companies don't do things that are very user friendly.
