Date: 3/28/12 1:49 PM I have a round back. I have made the round back adjustment-opening 1/4" at the center back and decreasing to nothing at the armhole. I am ending up with a role of fabric on my high back, right under the collar. I am trying to make a jacket and am about to tear my hair out. This happens on blouses too.
I hope someone has some ideas.
P.S. The excess fabric is running horizontally. -- Edited on 3/28/12 1:58 PM -- |

Date: 3/28/12 3:41 PM Try adjusting the shoulders - a square shoulder adjustment fixes this on me. ------ chris

Date: 3/28/12 5:20 PM I've had this problem too and I also do a rounded back adjustment. When I look at myself side on I can see that there is a little bump where my back joins my neck. I figured that the fabric was getting hung up on this so added a quarter inch to the shoulder seams at the back neck only - tapering to nothing at the shoulder. This makes the back neck a bit larger so I added the same amount at the centre back collar. This seems to fix it for me.
