First of all, nowhere on the website or the pattern is there any kind of sizing 411 except for finished garment measurements. Secondly, there's got to be something screwy here. "Sandy" is for a bonnet (which I probably won't be making), a cross strap overalls romper, and a overdress. It goes from sizes 1/2-6, which pleased me as I could dress my nieces alike. (I am, however, planning on swapping out the poofy bottom on the older one's for something closer to shorts!) The thing is, from the finished measurements, the dress will be too big for the baby, because the size 1/2 dress' measurements would fit a size 2! However, the playsuit's finished measurement for chest is 19", which is a standard size 1/2.
I emailed the designer's website to ask, but never got an answer. Does anybody else here have more information about this? It just seems crazy to me. I mean, even over the romper, two inches seems like a lot...
