Date: 3/30/12 1:14 PM I received a serger for christmas from my wonderful DH. I'm finally jumping in and going to use it making a t-shirt for my DS. It's an ottobre pattern so the instructions are a bit light. Any tutorials/books etc that you could recommend to help me sew the ribbing on?
Thanks!

Date: 3/30/12 4:22 PM I like this Sarah Veblen video a lot. She doesn't use a serger (iirc), but her method of determining the correct length of fabric to use (depends on how much it stretches, so don't always trust the pattern piece) is terrific. |
