Date: 3/30/12 8:40 PM Are you talking about the overlay for a bodice of some sort, like a v-neck t-shirt or wedding dress? In that case, you place the lace on the fabric, before the neckline is cut, wrong side of lace to right side of fabric, then stitch a small stitch around the outside edges of the lace. Then trim the fabric up to the lace edges. It's much like applique, but you remove the back (which is the fabric)
