Got my first shipment from Fabricmart!
I've never tried it, because they charge additional shipping to Hawaii. But after I checked more into it, they could ship it at flat rate of $15.50.
It sounds pricey but considering how cheap their fabrics are, each fabric came out to be about $2-3/yd, so I thought it was worth it.

Anyways, on the bundle, I'm a little mixed.
I think they are all workable.
I'm not too into animal prints but I got two...
They are pretty subtle so I think it's ok.
I love the flower print!
I'm not really sure what the pink one is... It reminds me of table cloth....
Does it work for garment sewing? (i got like 3yds of it too...)

Overall I'm happy with it. I love opening the package to see what's inside!

Congrats on your first bundle! Is the pink one (floral) sheer, and is it nubby and sheer? Then why not a flowy top, like maybe in a peasant stye. Or maybe I'm not seeing your colors clearly.

Ok... so who else shops from Fabricmart online? I've always thought it's too hard to shop for fabrics online as I really need to FEEL the stuff... maybe I'm missing out?

I'm completely addicted to fabric mart online. Everything I've purchased has been even better than I hoped it would be -- even the mystery bundles. I'm actually almost afraid to buy another because I have to be due for a dud or two soon, right? Anyway, highly recommend them, especially if you hit a good sale.

Yes I might become Fabricmart addict...
Although, I promised not to check their site until I'm done with all...ok, most of my fabric stash. I'm becoming a fabric stasher!

All the fabrics I ordered from them were "wow, this feels nice!" quality.
Like I said their sales were so good that I didn't mind the shipping. There aren't many fabric stores in the neighborhood that I can go and feel...
So I've been relying on the online stores, and I'm glad that I found Fabricmart.

Big Fabric Mart fan here. I buy almost all of my fabric from them, except when I need something now and have to shop local chain stores. I like the fact the fabric comes labeled (not the mystery ones), that their website shows different views and gives suggestions as to the use (which indicates weight and how it falls), and the quality has always been excellent and the staff helpful.
I am really excited my daughter will be doing her residency in PHilly and I might get to visit the store. If there is a mystery fabric you don't like, use if for a muslin to see how a pattern fits, you might end up with something wearable, but you didn't waste any money.

FabricMart is just one of my many online stores. If you need to FEEL the stuff, you can order samples from Fashion Fabrics Club, Denver Fabrics, Fabric dot com, and a few others. The fun thing about bundles is that they are welcome surprises, inspiring us with new fabrics!

The pink...is it damask? (a jacquard weave?)

usually damask is linen or cotton.

jacquard weaves can be of any fiber.

Is the pink a pants weight fabric. Maybe a great pair of pink slacks for the spring?
