Does anyone watch Y&R?

I've watched The Young and the Restless since it began in the 70's. I like to see what the women are wearing. If anyone watches it, today Mrs. Chansler had a pretty aqua blouse on. It had a front and back yoke, V neck, long sleeves with narrow cuffs and it looked like epalets but with no buttons. I thought it as so cute and I'd love to make it with a pair of dressy slacks.

I recorded the show on my DVR and then listened to Mrs. C. talk to Neil about coming back to work at Chansler Industries. I was tracing a pattern so I didn't "watch" the show and deleted it when I was done listening so I missed that. I, too, love to watch the styles the women wear because those clothes reflect new styles coming out very soon.

Do you watch the B & the B? Brad Carlton has been wearing some funky looking business shirts lately with bold prints on the inside of the collar stand and an inverted "V" cutout of the back of the collar. Also, the collar stand is extra tall. I thought they were quite "different" looking, but if my husband was an exec., I'd never bring one home for him to wear.

I don't watch B&B anymore. My husband probably wouldn't like it. He doesn't like anything stylish, in my opinion.

I love to watch Y&R! I do love to see what they are wearing and think I most love Mrs. C's clothes--a lot like my wardrobe, very classic and zing it up with bling. I do like some of the edgier looks on Chloe and Phylis.

I hardly watch B&B. The botox is a bit distracting along with the storyline that they are now running--I'll wait a few weeks and see if anyone's moved forward lol

Here's the full front of the blouse, and here's a closeup of the yoke, etc.

OMG Elona, you took a picture of it! You are great! What do you think of the blouse? I thought it quite unique. Looks like some kind of placket in the front, doesn't it? No darts that I can tell either.

Mrs. C was off for awhile. Don't you think she's lost weight since she is back on now?

Yeah, it looks as though the placket down the front of that pretty blouse is continuous with the neckline finish.

I can't see any darts, either, but there may be a little shaping via the front yoke. On the other hand, she's pretty thin and might not need much bust shaping.
