My daughter is getting married in July and it will be very hot (NC). I want to make this dress: http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/v1218-products-13636.php?page_id=174
but it calls for a two way stretch. I can't find anything that would be appropriate for this pattern. Does anyone have any suggestion for on-line shopping or fabrics??
has wonderful rayon lycra knits in both solids, many colors, and prints. The solids are a nice weight.
It's wonderful quality. She sends free samples.
You can also try mood fabrics, they have a large selection of cotton lycra knits as well as rayon lycra knits. You do have to pay for samples here, but I wouldn't buy from them without as their photos and descriptions are somewhat lacking. I think that the rayon are dressier but most of the cottons are firmer and less drapey.
