Date: 4/11/12 3:18 AM Thank heavens I try to use our sponsors here at PR. GO NOW to the incredible fifty percent off sale at Elliott Berman textiles. and then I think it is dot com. or just do like I did...and hit the adv button here at PR.
I had never been to this NY company before. Very upscale stuff, knock out selection AND a birthday sale April 10 to th 17th. There is a code: BDAY50 on page one. After you do your selection, put in the code and your total is cut in half. That even included some Anna Sui trimmings that were already a great price.
I got a beautiful fabric from Italy and another from France as well as a knit that is a swirly Tiffany blue fabric. Yum yum.
Happy Hunting.

Date: 4/11/12 9:11 AM I shopped this sale last year and definitely scored big. Unfortunately, I was in need of other things elsewhere. Next year... ------ emadethis.wordpress.com

Date: 4/11/12 12:38 PM I shopped this sale this morning. The discount code didn't work for me, so I emailed them and Eugenia replied that I should just put the coupon code into the comments section and she would apply it to my order. I agree that Elliott Berman has fantastic fabrics and great customer service. |

Date: 4/12/12 5:05 PM Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I guess this means I'll have to break my fabric fast just a teeny bit. I've ordered from them in the past and their fabrics are just wonderful. Very nice people, too. ------ Susie

Date: 4/12/12 6:13 PM I ordered fabrics from Elliot Berman Birthday sale. Eugenia sent an email to me because two of the fabrics I requestsed had been sold out. When I spoke with Eugenia about substitutions (she's very nice), she told me that they had about 30 online orders within the first 15 minutes of the sale. I would enjoy visiting the store during the sale to see the other fabrics they have in stock that they have not on the website, but I also worry that if I were to visit that I would suffer from Stendahl's syndrome... ------ Needles Pins Thorns (my sewing blog)
