The topic says it all I guess...

If you had a job and had the chance to quit and do something you really wanted without the constraints of money or benefits...what would you do???

You know...like George on Seinfeld...he liked baseball!

That's easy for me; I'd do music (take lessons, practice, perform, maybe teach a little). And to keep the other parts of my brain engaged, I'd do some editing or writing, too.

Honestly? I'd like to be a math teacher ... I've tried two years in a row now, and not even an interview. (I work in industry - have both B.S. and M.S. in math). I'll keep trying though!

Well, being retired I guess you could say I'm doing it... I read What Color is Your Parachute a while back, after a downsizing of my company. I took the test and it said I was an entrepreneur. That's what launched me into having my own business, and that was so much fun!

I would like to be a teacher - which I already am! Nice to be working in one's dream job, thank God.

Tina, wow, you'd be scooped up in a second around here. We are desperate for Math teachers.
I would be a home maker if I had my way. For a job that's outside of the home, I would like to be a nurse - an LPN. Not possible now though. I'd have to put aside not only tuition, but the same amount of money I'm bringing home now for the whole 18 -24 month program! Not happening.

Hmm...interesting topic.

I really like my job...but...let's see...forest ranger (or working in the national parks) as in, "hi, where are you folks from? let me tell you about the area," which I kind of do anyway when people visit Colorado.

or...I thought I'd like to be an event planner at one time, until I talked with an actual event planner and decided it wasn't for me

or...novelist (what I wanted to be as a kid

or...of course, something to do with sewing/fabric
