I think this has beautiful colors. But I'm having a hard time making sense of their description and the whole "sold by panel" stipulation. A little summer dress would be lovely, wouldn't it? So, hoe much should I order?

A panel is 34" by 58". You'd use it on the cross grain, so you would need two panels to make roughly a yard and a half of 64" fabric. Depends what kind of summer dress you have in mind. For a sheath, two panels might work if you're kind of small. For anything else, I'd go with four panels.

look closely at the photo and you can see the line running vertically through the middle, that determines the panel
