Date: 4/22/12 9:41 AM For anyone living close enough to attend there will be a Sewing Expo in Raleigh, NC this summer. Looks to be lots of interesting classes and of course shopping!

Date: 4/23/12 10:15 PM Oh definitely! It seems we get so little in the way of this kind of event in NC that I wouldn't miss it for anything. I'll be machine shopping for sure, looking for 'show special' pricing on a few machines I'd like to own! Plus there will be oodles of vendors! Yay! Can you tell I'm excited?! =0) ------

Date: 5/8/12 7:42 AM I'm down the road from you in Wilmington. I was initially going to check out sewing machines and any show specials that might be had but I've since found a machine. So now will just be for general shopping and maybe a class, haven't decided about that yet. ------

Date: 6/22/12 9:12 PM I went Thursday - just reviewed my experience - and I am going back tomorrow as a classroom assistant/ambassador.
I had a lot of fun and I have one BIG tip - stay for the prize drawing! They mean it when they say must be present to win!!!
They called three names for the grand prize (a Brother sewing-embroidery machine) and they weren't there, but the fourth person was...and it was ME!
