Wondering if anyone has seen the Expression 150 Anniversary Machine. I noticed that one on Pfaff's website.

Haven't seen it, but it seems to be the Select 3.0 with the anniversary faceplate. Makes me wish I hadn't yet bought the 3.0, so I could get the 150 instead, lol. Looks very pretty. I'm surprised that they didn't use the 4.0, with more stitches, the needle threader, and organizer tray for the anniversary model. It's nice that they are offering both a mechanical and computerized anniversary model, as Viking has.

The one strange thing is that the expression 4 has the auto presser foot lift and the knee lift, but the 3.0 and 2.0 got neither.

It would be nice it the 2.0 3.0 and/or 150 had one of those, oh well

The 150 is pretty!

In the stitch overview of the SELECT 150, the Pfaff site says 9mm decorative stitches. This might be a typo, the select line has always had 6mm stitches. If indeed this mechanical machine has 9mm, I'll be buying one. I'm still thinking it's a mistake, but one can always hope:)

I am seriously thinking a Pfaff will be my next machine. I use to have a Tiptronic, then went to the 1475CD in the early 1990s when it was Pfaff's TOL machine! That seems like the dark ages compared to the machines these days.

I've been studying the Pfaff website and the various videos of the Expression line on YouTube - if you didn't know about the YouTube videos go on over and do a search for Pfaff Expression.

I've been sewing with a Viking Designer SE for several years, it is a wonderful machine hands down. I just never have gotten over my fondness for the Pfaff's though. I shied away from them when the mergers/sale occurred a couple of years ago but I do believe things are looking up again for Pfaff.

I'll be going to a Sewing and Quilt EXPO in June, and I will be seeking out the Pfaff dealers there for lots of testing and possibly a purchase if I find a good 'show' price! =0) There hasn't been a Pfaff dealer in my town for quite a few years, have dealers for all the others though which I find odd that no one wanted to carry Pfaff!

My sewing rooms has 2 machines set up, My Designer 1 and my Pfaff 1530. The D1 is my go to machine for lightweight knits and buttonholes. My Pfaff is the favorite for home dec, and slippery fabrics. I love how the zipper foot can work with the IDT, love it, love it for making piping and setting zippers in difficult fabrics.
I barely use the Viking walking foot, I prefer the IDT.

Viking did the same thing with the Sapphire line, the 875 had a thread cutter and other goodies, the 850 no cutter, the 830 very basic. The companies want you to buy the top dollar machine with the most features. Most of us are very weak and will, in the right moment, buy that machine! =0)

I've been thinking about the Pfaff Expression 150. I don't need another Pfaff...or any other sewing machine. I already own a few.

But I really really like that Pfaff Expression 150. And a ltd edition Anniversary model...I could justify it to myself as being a collector machine.

Except I don't really need more of those either. But I don't have a Pfaff collector machine, and I'm not likely to be around for their 200th Anniversary machine...

Ok, anyone have any price range on the Pfaff Expression 150?

Just curious...
