I don't know if people in other countries will be able to see the NZ site so they might need to wait for it to roll out to their own time zone. I love it |

Date: 4/23/12 8:14 PM Wow, that is kind of neat. My guess is there really is at least one lone person, over there at Google in Mountain View headquarters there, that does web design, that also actually really does sew and even does machine hoop embroidery!
Just because I have not seen anyplace yet, as true type font or a filter effecyt, for most only print print/web graphic arts programs, that makes a font look like that, as only a printed use kind of font, that looks just more like the very common view you would see just see anyways, in almost all machine embroidery digitizing programs up on your screen for letters like that. But that really does look just the same!
I know lots of artists like Adobe software as their choice for just graphic arts and Adobe has had their just rather very expensive
Adobe i2 plug in, even for Adobe Illustrator and Corel draw now for quite some time.
Maybe someone over there at Google even has that embroidery digitizing program plug in, in one of those programs of thiers, and did that first as that in there, then made a screen capture of it or such, and used it on their more normal looking Google font/Logo even. Not that someone could not do that with something else, but I think the only way most home embroider's could even afford to have and use that you pay monthly for it, Adobe i2 plug in that might load into and become one with the Corel or Adobe, is actually if you could get your day job (maybe at Google) to even pay for it instead!

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs |
