I was surfing the waves of the high internet and came across an web site called sewing buddies. What it is every year for the whole year one person matches up everyone that wants to join with a sewing buddy, someone that they can email to each week, for help with a sewing project, give a tip, or anything that has to do with sewing or just to have someone to vent to when things with the sewing life get to us. Plus its a good neat way to meet someone new and get to know another person from another place on this earth :). I just thought this would be fun to do was just tossing it out there to see what everyone else things and if its a go find someone who wants to do the matching and also have a sewing buddy themselves.

It's a great idea! Nobody around me sews, so the only way for me to have a sewing buddy would be on the Internet.

I agree. The internet is a good place for support, but there is nothing like sharing time and talents together.

I have plenty of internet sewing buddies; I want one who lives down the street and barring that no more than 30 minutes away.

I live near where NH, MA, and VT intersect and I would LOVE a nearby (not email) sewing buddy! Email me if interested, klutzygirlsfarmette at gmail.

That's why I do love our ASG. I've met so many great sewing buddies. But, still, I only see them once a month at the meetings. Everyone is so busy between jobs, kids and grand kids, husbands, and everything else in life.... I guess some of the ladies who are retired or have been friends for a long time get together outside of the meetings, but I only see everyone at the actual meetings. Still, it's good!
