Looking to do something like the bent and curved zippers I've seen from a cadre of different designers.

Is this going to be as simple as easing a straight zipper into a curved or bent placket? I'm thinking i may have to crimp, snip, or otherwise manipulate the tape to get this to work.

The zipper tape is quite flexible and you should be able to do these manipulations pretty easily. Love the crazy zipper on the pants.

When sewing a purse, I clipped the edge of the zipper tape -- only 1/8" -- which allowed it to bend around a 90-degree angle curve. Worked like a charm. I doubt you'll need that with the more gentle curves shown in your photos, though.

I love the pants! The mc jacket is cool also. Construction would probably be just a bit fiddley with lining everything up correctly, but what a statement. Thanks for the pictures.

Both are Rick Owens, the pants are called aircuts and I think the jacket is called Showtek? He does variations of it a lot.

Dude's wild, every show of his I see something I want to buy/make, menswear and womenswear alike.
