Searching on date range over the forum

Maybe I am not doing it correctly but often you read a current/active post and then it hard to find/retrieve it when you need it but you know it was posted in the last week/fortnight. Would it be possible to include in the search forum a date range of posts only.. no subject accross the whole forum or in the different sections. It would be handy for those who like to keep abreast with all chat on those days we have not been online. But if I missing how to do it, I would appreciated being informed..
