I am interested in posting a review on a sewing machine I use every day but do not own. The company I work for as a seamstress owns it. The machine in question is an industrial but would be well suited to a home user so may be of interest. Is that appropriate?

SURE! Just say somewhere in the review that you don't actually own it, but use it a lot... I don't see any problems with that!

I think we would be interested in that sort of a review. There have been more than a few members who have evinced an interest in an industrial machine. :)

Would love to see this. Especially since you have been using the machine. Some reviews seem to be posted as soon as the machine pops out of the packing box!

Do it! Better than "I just bought this machine today" reviews.

I would be very interested in review of an industrial machine suitable for home, so many crafts would work up well with one!

Yes, please do the review! Could you tell us what machine it is or post a link to the review when it's up?

I am thinking of the Juki DDL 8700 and the DDL 5550. I did see since I posted that there are reviews of both, missed it before. I most certainly do use it a LOT and find it would be very adaptable to a home use. In fact, when my days are done in the workshop, I may have to get one.
