FINALLY!

What a project. I even took out the now-needed spandex from the packed boxes, cut what I wanted, and re-packed the box.

AND.....drumroll......
I USED my first piece of stash-busting fabric. I was holding it, trying to decide where the heck to put it, and decided to just go ahead and make the pillow cover out of it that I had planned to use it for. So now Audrey has her bed AND her covered pillow that fits under the desk that she likes to lay on. (Pictures of it are in the photo album)

here is the album documenting the whole process:
Sewing Room

before:

the mystery corner:

pile goes all the way up to the window!

bigger mess during process:

DONE!

Look Learn! The FLOOR in the corner!

And what a lovely floor it is. I do like it. I see in one picture the backside of a Pfaff and in another part of a serger. Where do you have these machines? Is that the cutie you are making the swim spandex things for? I see part of a dog bed I recognize.

The room looks great. Now, care to come to my house and help with mine????

I couldn't bring myself to put the box of fleece in that corner. I LIKE the floor!

Yes, that is my Precious Punkin I am making the swim britches for.

And I only have 2 machines. Both are Pfaff's. The serger lives on the floor under the table when it's not in use (I found the cover in the mystery pile in the corner!), and the sewing machine lives in the table. I never move it. The clear acrylic insert comes off and the machine gets pushed down into the table, then I have a piece to cover the hole to make a cutting table.

I LOVE my Pfaff's and my table. I have no desire for another machine-there isn't anything my Pfaff can't do!

And yes the dog bed is in there, it gets moved around but ended up back in the sewing room. She likes her pillow too, under the desk. When I pull the chair out I lay it down so she can use it. That's her teddy bear too.

And my husband just asked me to help him organize his mess in the garage- I said NO WAY! I am so-over major cleaning projects for a bit.

Your room looks BEAUTIFUL! But, that baby boy takes the cake. So adorbs!

I think your yellow might be the same yellow I have it my house. Love it--such a happy color. I hope you have many happy hours in your organized room.

From the sequence of the pictures its like you started cleaning and found a baby. "Wow, I wondered where that went"
