Date: 5/7/12 2:35 PM I ventured to another area WM today. They had tons of fabric,
so much it was in extra bins in the center aisles, and the rest messy in the condensed small aisles given to it. Most was cotton for quilts and kids, a few solid and polka dots knits, but a lot of fleece put away. A few pretty batiks were $8.97.
I know they re-cycle their cardboards, but I found one lonely, pretty voile with (can it be?!) Golden Dor on it! And they had several poly blouse prints I've seen in Fabric.com. Now that makes me excited as to where they are contracting the stuff, but also wondering about other dealers. Anyone in the know?
Only an S. pattern book is left, with one pattern per slot. The rest are only NL and SS in the open. C&C thread rack was mostly gone too, wonder if they are opting for their own brand? |

Date: 5/7/12 5:10 PM Sounds like you hit it good. I stop in to one that carries fabric and it is a hit or miss. the last time I didn't see anything in apparel fabric but when I do I buy!I love NL patterns so I always can pick up a couple of them anyway. ------ Laurie Lou |
