Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and I was hoping that someone could tell me what type of fabric is used on the (photograph of the) jacket for Kwik Sew pattern 3334? The model is wearing a pink jacket, light blue jeans and a pink sash belt. I love the whole look, especially the jacket, but I'm not sure what "type" of fabric is used on it. I'd like to search it on the internet, but it's hard to do when you don't know what to call it! Thanks so much for your replies.

Perhaps boucle boucle examples.

It could also be a tweed (really hard to tell in that photo) like this one from Emma One Sock

There a alot of choices for that jacket and recommended on the pattern are wool, tweed, twill, silk, rayon, crepe, linen, brocade, jacquard. It really depends on what kind of jacket you want it to be - warm weather, cold weather, all season. I love a silk crepe (4 ply) for a jacket like that.
Good luck with the project.
