Your Blog Roll or Blogs You Follow What do you look for in a blog?

Examples would be the sewist's skill level, similar body types, their interest in a variety of topics, popularity, fashion sense, helpful tutorials. I see uniquely wonderful characteristics in the blogs I like and find it difficult to shorten my list. I collect Petite sewing blogs, in particular but I typically follow anyone who's style or voice I like. I'm currently in LOVE with AUS/NZ and ES/PT/BR bloggers and there so few Caribbean/Latin American bloggers that I've discovered (I hope for more). My blog roll is linked to the following thing (a Blogger feature, I believe) so it happens all on its own. The most recently updated ones show at the top. I keep adding to mine but not everyone posts frequently. I look for similar body and style types but I love being inspired by trechniques of others who don't share that with me but do have good project details/tutorials. I like reading blogs that have segmented blog rolls.....sewing blogs, fashion blogs, quilting blogs. I don't know how to do that yet but when I finally sit down to work on my blog re-design that's what I'm going to do. I have some that are home dec and DIY, a few cooking ones and some personal growth onesthat I would like to put into separate categories. I don't shorten my blog list but wha I do find happening is that my commenting drops when the list gets too long and I don't like seeing that happen. I repsect how much work goes into frequent posts and pics so the least I can do is comment, however infrequently. ------ www.luckysewandsew.blogspot.com
