What are one, two, or possible three elements that you look for when including a blog to blog favorites list and/or as a follower of a sewist's blog? Examples would be the sewist's skill level, similar body types, their interest in a variety of topics, popularity, fashion sense, helpful tutorials. I see uniquely wonderful characteristics in the blogs I like and find it difficult to shorten my list.

Several bloggers mentioned in their blogs that they had to condense their blog favorites lists because they were getting inordinately long.

That's definitely my criteria, if I really have one. I collect Petite sewing blogs, in particular but I typically follow anyone who's style or voice I like.

I'm currently in LOVE with AUS/NZ and ES/PT/BR bloggers and there so few Caribbean/Latin American bloggers that I've discovered (I hope for more).

My blog roll is linked to the following thing (a Blogger feature, I believe) so it happens all on its own. The most recently updated ones show at the top.

I don't really worry about it.

------
Morphology: Petite at 1m53 (5'), Burda size altered 19 or altered 38, Big 4 size 10 or 12 depending on ease;
Alterations: Petite, Narrow Shoulders, Slim Arms, Narrow waist, Increase Back Crotch Depth. Considering: Forward Neck/Rounded Upper Back, Slight Swayback;
Style: Feminine, Colorful, Fitted, Clean lines;
Favorite Garment type: Dress;
Favorite Colors: Purple, Navy, Brown, Shocking Pink, Coral, Aqua;
Favorite Fibers, Weaves or Patterns: Cotton, Linen, Cotton Silk blend, Seersucker, Swiss Dot, Lawn, Denim, Stripes, Chevron, Window pane Plaid, Bias;

I'm supposed to shorten my list? I keep adding to mine but not everyone posts frequently. I look for similar body and style types but I love being inspired by trechniques of others who don't share that with me but do have good project details/tutorials. I like reading blogs that have segmented blog rolls.....sewing blogs, fashion blogs, quilting blogs. I don't know how to do that yet but when I finally sit down to work on my blog re-design that's what I'm going to do. I have some that are home dec and DIY, a few cooking ones and some personal growth onesthat I would like to put into separate categories. I don't shorten my blog list but wha I do find happening is that my commenting drops when the list gets too long and I don't like seeing that happen. I repsect how much work goes into frequent posts and pics so the least I can do is comment, however infrequently.
