Date: 5/14/12 5:38 PM In winter I wear a LOT of fleece garments (it's cold here). Fleece pullovers, pants, jackets, mittens and hats.
Yesterday I went to my favorite quilt shop that (by MT standards) is huge! But they don't stock any fleece.
They say that they can't compete with JoAnn's for the price.
But, I say, JoAnn's stuff is awfully poor quality; there have been many complaints that their fleece (made in China) overwhelmingly stinks of chemicals and the odor cannot be washed out. Not only that, JoAnn's selections is just so-so.
That leaves me with ordering it online where color-matching is a crap-shoot.
Color me disappointed. ------ Linda

Date: 5/14/12 9:01 PM It's hard to beat real Polartec for quality, and if you order from either milldirect.com or therainshed.com, you will get the genuine article. For a very small charge, they will send you samples, and you'll know exactly the type and color of the fleece you order. |
