Does anyone know anything about these sergers: Singer 14U65 Serger
Supposedly it is a 5 thread withj the capability of doing a DOUBLE CHAINSTITCH. When I Google it all I get is stuff that seems to be in German. Anyone know anything or cvan translate German?

Or free in english. http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/0e8cddd59c73a72526e036c8f3a1b4499a0d47d4.pdf

When anyone describes the chain a overlocker makes as a DOUBLE CHAINSTITCH instead of just a normal chain stitch or two thread chainstich, using two threads, (one needle thread and one chain looper thread) it sounds kind of "extra exciting" , like almost maybe you could get two rows of chain stitch in one pass. Like even having two chain stitch loopers, or the chain part on the bottom of the fabric being doubled over on it's self or something, but that is just another way of saying a two thread chainstitch, with one needle thread and one looper thread.

I don't know why it gets described in different words, both of those different ways sometimes just lots of places. But ends up the same old chain stitch, either way. Maybe to more differentiate it from some other ways of getting a chain stitch with just one thread instead? Like maybe when you use only one thread to do that, like with a awl or maybe in a old Singer Touch and Sew machine's chain stitch or maybe a Wilcox and Gibbs chainstitch, just since those just have one thread in them instead.
