Hi all...

Somehow I've been deemed the neighborhood expert. Anyway, a neighbor inherited a D1 (I keep running into those things) and we were playing with it...anyway, this one design seems to have threads that are pulling out really easily. It seems like the other 2 really small designs we tried didn't do that. She was converting some jef designs into shv. Do you think it's just how that one design was digitized? maybe someone didn't put a fix stitch where it is pulling out? or do you think it's something with the conversion? Thanks for advice.

It's very possible but by pulling out do you mean looping? Could be a bobbin issue. Try some more designs and if they are ok it's was probably how that particular designs was digitized.

Do you mean the design is coming unstitched? If that is it AND she is using Embird to convert, she can add tie off stitches - in Editor, choose "insert" then "tie on/off."

Yes, the design is coming unstitched. She cut the jump threads and then pulled one of the ends and yes this one section is just pulling out (coming unstitched). Ok...so it probably is the design itself. She has sew-what that she is using to convert the designs. I do hope it's not the software since I recommended that one to her.
