Last thing I watched was Erica Kane in the 70's when babies were sleeping...I was always amused by those ladies with un-real lives who wore cocktail dresses around the house, while we real women were in spit-up stained T's and old bell-bottoms, trying to remember putting on some lipstick before hubby came home. I quit soaps when they started drug-dealing and getting involved in international intrigue.
It seems the empire style is gone now, ruffly flowers are getting old, can't handle the new falling-off-the-shoulder enlarged T-shape and batwing sleeves. We only have Marshall's and TJ's to see the new 1-season styles, with no finished edges and thin pilly fabrics.
Well, just wait til 2013, our new pattern knock-offs will be obsolete again!
I notice the national News ladies are wearing simple sheaths (have you noticed how awful their bright yellow looks on TV?) and pencil skirts with classy blouses, but then "where to wear?" with no office to go to?
