I have had this software and never did use it much because I never found much for tutorials on how to use it. This weekend I found some on the Bernina page and copied those all down. I have not been able to find much of anything on how to turn a scanned image into an applique. it says it can but can only get to scanning image as a bitmap and opening it up but not how to work with the design from there. If someone can help or tell me if anyone made tutorials that are any good for this software I would really appreciate it.
TIA

There used to be a yahoo group but it folded maybe a year ago. You can get help from the embroidery online site by writing in. They also have video tutorials that you can play again and again.

I would imagine that you could put your scanned image on screen then go to applique and pull in a shape. Then reshape it to match your underlying scan. I have never done that particular thing but that is how I would set about doing it.
Explorations Training Videos

The training videos are on two pages. Click options to get to the second set.

Good luck with it! I love this program but more to combine designs and design them on an article. I have a different digitizing program, Janome MBX, that I use to digitize from scratch. That said, you can do an awful lot with your Explorations.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I have watched those videos and it doesn't really cover my needs. It says you can do it but by the time I follow the directions I loose a step and can't reach my goal. There is a step that I am missing somewhere.
