Date: 5/23/12 12:57 PM I have been relentless in trying to get a pair of pants to fit me well. I finally think I've done it with Butterick 5221 (old pattern and no longer sold). Everything seems to fit me fine, but the legs on that pattern are really big and wide at the bottom. I'd like to reduce the circumference by about 6 -8 inches, but don't really know the best way to do it without throwing off the whole pattern. I think the 5221 leg is approx 28". I prefer a straight leg with about 20 - 22" in circumference. Could someone help me with this?
thanks
