Date: 5/23/12 4:41 PM In my mystery bundle they sent me a pretty teal colored knit with a thin black stripe. The stripes run horizontally and I don't do horizontal stripes anywhere on this bod! It stretches alot on the lengthwise and does have some stretch on the crosswise grain so I think I can run the stripes vertically. I want to sew a short sleeve knit top and some knit black pants. I'm searching through all my knit top patterns and all I have is tops with little raglan sleeves. Is it possible to match up the stripes on this style of top? Can anyone suggest a cute knit top? |

Date: 5/23/12 7:00 PM If the stripes are thin, running them horizontally won't add width to your figure. In fact, knit tops with thin horizontal stripes are very "in" right now. I'd just pick a simple scoop or boatneck t-shirt pattern for the fabric that you're describing. ------ --Michelle

you could use the short sleeve version or make the long sleeves as short as you wished. -- Edited on 5/25/12 7:04 AM -- ------ You can judge the true character of a man by the way he treats the people
