Subject: Pattern McCalls 6473 Date: 5/25/12 11:56 PM Dee, I haven't sewn this pattern but I looked up the instructions and it looks pretty standard. Can you tell me what you mean by your sleeves want to go in? In where? Into the body of the garment? |

Subject: Pattern McCalls 6473 Date: 5/26/12 0:40 AM Dee, The easiest mistake to make with sleeves is to sew them into the wrong armhole. Have you checked that you have the left sleeve in the left side? |

Date: 5/28/12 4:27 PM After I sewed the side pieces in they have exter fabric hanging . Shoot this is hard to try to explain wish I could take a picture an show you. Because maybe I sew the side pices in wrong . Just not sure what to do with the fabric beside the seam. Everything else looks great. |

Subject: Pattern McCalls 6473 Date: 6/1/12 11:12 AM I have this pattern and just pulled it out. I'm thinking you had some trouble with the princess seams, making the sleeve opening wonky. Maybe you sewed the side front pieces reversed, or maybe you didn't ease the princess seams together. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |
