I have the following pattern Vogue 2159 in a size 12, and would like to make it. However, I've run into an issue; I have every pattern piece except the Dress Sleeve (# 8). It would be great if someone out there has it and could trace the sleeve peice for me. ;)

If not I have a question: I have the sleeve lining piece. I'm wondering can I use the sleeve lining to make the sleeve? Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions.

So many machines, even more fabric, and way too little time!

I think you could probably just use the sleeve lining piece to make the sleeve. To find out though, I would look at both the drawings of the pattern layout for lining and real fabric, as in the cutting layout and also the directions for sewing those parts. Just to make sure both lining and sleeve were depicted as about the same shaped and such. But since it's just a set in sleeve, at the arm hole opening part, I would think they would not be too different at all, except that lining might even be a lot shorter in length and the hem of it possibly. So I would at least cut it extra long at the sleeve hem by at least maybe 4 inches or so, or whatever seems good and safe when you just hold it up to your body, it looks like you could need. Better to have it too long there and even have to cuit shorter later, than not enough fabric, when you cut it out.

What is that double layer part of the sleeve cuff there though? Is that just a short color blocked small little piece that gets attached under the navy blue part of the sleeve, and then all that together has another full sleeve lining under it, or is that part of what they might consider the lining sleeve piece there? You probably would just have to look at the sewing directions for it to find out.
