Full slips Do yo make them? What is the pattern you use?

Sometimes it is easier to use a slip than to make a lining. I know wearing a slip dates me but I like a full slip. You can't find them right now anywhere-it is even hard to find half slips. I think I am going to make a pair of shorts in lingerie fabric-I think that might work in hot weather. I would like to make a full slip or two-if you make slips what is your favorite pattern?

But, recently I have been using Elizabeth Lee Designs one cause I'm nursing. I love making my own. I wear a slip almost always, not only for modesty but it makes your clothes look nicer. I would like a pattern maker to make a pattern for the "sexy" ones of days gone by. The ones that have shaping at the bust and are kind of flowy empire waist. If you look around etsy there is a few just really sexy pretty ones (vintage). But, I've never found a pattern for such. The ELD one I use is pretty much a "sack", but I add laces, and use good quality tricot, etc. I like to pretty them up. But, oh for the shapely vintage ones! But, the ELD one is so simple I can whip one up FAST, and I make a lot of them. I personally like being able to make my own cause I can make them prettier then what is on the market today. BUT, if you are wanting RTW last I looked Dillard's and Khols (possibly Macy's as Dillard's/Khol's/Macy's all seen to sell the same things) were selling them. ------ Visit my blog http://www.heathersprairie.blogspot.com
