Anyone have this happen? My when I flip my switch the machine pannel flickers and makes soft ticking sound but won't start up. I have changed outlets, cords, what else can I do? Suggestions?? I have a lot of grad projects to do, don't have time for this!!

I noticed that no one has responded to your post... I do not sew with a Viking but I am afraid to speculate... I suggest that you bring it to your sewing machine tech.

I dont' sew with a Viking either, but it sounds like quite a dilemma. If you haven't done the following, this is all I can think of:
make sure cord is pushed in all the way
turn off & unplug for >10 sec to kinda "reset" it.
Other than that, you've tried the other things I'd suggest.... I think you'll have to take it in :-(

Sorry about your SM. I have the DD and it has acted up twice when I had important projects going that needed to be finished quickly. Hope it's something that can be fixed quickly and easily. Seems like the more the machine does the easier it is to have something go wrong.
