Date: 6/8/12 3:43 PM Started this quilt late last year and it kept getting put aside so I could work on other projects. Nice to have finally been able to move it out of the UFO pile and onto my bed where it belongs!
A big part of this quilt is scraps, I did buy a few fat quarters on sale to add more of the color types that I wanted in the quilt top.

Date: 6/8/12 10:05 PM I love it. I love quilts where you can really see the fabric, not just the colors. And it is so cheerful! ------ Barb |

Date: 6/9/12 9:37 AM Wouldn't that be a perfect pattern for a kid! You could choose fabric with pictures on it to feature in the blocks. Then you could play games with it- you know "Find the frogs" or Find 3 blocks with wheels in them."

Date: 6/9/12 11:36 AM It's pretty, it is a simple pattern and the white really makes the colors show off.
Sadly I could not do a whie sash quilt, due to 2 small dogs. I do love the simple pattern. What size are the squares? Looks like it could be as small as 6 1/2 or a 9 1/2.
You have a reason to be proud of yourself for finishing this quilt. How did you do the binding on it. What does the back look like? How did you quilt it? I like it so much I want to know more.
