I don't know if this is the right topic on message board to post this, but I have ordered parts for my sewing machine from this very professional looking site and while my account was charged I have yet to receive the merchandise I ordered three weeks ago and have been unable to contact anyone via phone or email listings. I don't think I can cancel payment as it has already been charged to my account. I am just putting a warning out there. Bernie

Let your credit card company know about the problem and they can reverse the charges. Also, write up a review for this Sewing Store.

The instructions will be on the back of your statement. There's usually a different address than where your payments go.
When your bill comes with the charges, pay everything except the amount in dispute, then write the letter, following the instructions. I just did this with sewingpatterns.com.
In the retail world it's called a chargeback. If a company gets too many chargebacks, the credit card company will cancel their account.

There are at least four bad online reviews that say the same thing about this entity. Plus the BBB page:

Thanks Sherril for the information - I will do that and thanks everyone else for commenting. This is a real drag, but I hope my post will keep someone else from trying to purchase from them.

I can see where you could easily think it is a good site - it is well made and has the right "ambiance." How DOES a person get away with this sort of practice? And how much could whoever be making from this?! It's not like stealing precious gems. Good grief - I am so sorry this happened.

Yes, I don't know how a person can get away with this either. Lesson learned. From now on I will research any site I deal with online to make sure I can contact a real live person. Bernie

I think they operate on the "It's worth a shot" theory. After all, what do they have to lose?
