Pfaff 2038 expression

They have a pfaff2038 for $700, but think I can get one for less on e-bay. As far as any lessons its too far for me to drive & not sure about warranty as seller is one of the employees.Person selling on e-bay says she used about 100 hrs & just had serviced. I can't spend alot. How risky is it to buy on e-bay? Any suggestionns for comparable used machine? Belong to SewItsForSale but prices there are higher then e-bay or local.Can't find anything on Craigslist.How musch would you spend foor this machine?
