I still do not have EQ7. I have EQ4 which is not upgradable and because of that, I have been dragging my feet to go along with the newer versions. I saw EQ being sold for $153 and wondered if the price was A) wrong or B) lowered to reflect a sell off of the softwate because it is about to under go an update to EQ 8? Why not email EQ and ask? No dongle needed which is very nice. I think you can install it on 5 computers but only 2 can be active at one time. I have found the learning curve not too steep. I had EQ4 but 6 months later EQ5 came out and I never upgraded. I also have EQ Dear Jane and that is based on EQ7, so the basic operations are the same. 7 is much more sophisticated than DJ and version 4.
