Heirloom Sewing Heirloom Sewing

I am a great fan and not nearly as good at it as Martha.

Generally speaking, "heirloom sewing" seeks to replicate the look of hand done whitework by machine, and features elements like cutwork, eyelets, pintucks, lace, and other decorative stitches. It's especially popular on baby clothes like christening gowns. ------ ~Gem in the prairie
