Decovil is a fusible interfacing that is described as giving a leather like feel to fabric. It is used in handbags, belts etc., but seems to be a non-USA product. Has anyone used it or do you know of a substitute. I want to make an iPad case and found it used in an online tutorial and it sounded great. I'm a "Reginner" so suggestions are welcome!!!

I've never heard of Decovil before, but you can order it from U-Handbag, a website based in Britain. I've ordered from U-Handbag before didn't have any problems.

Thanks nancy, i came across it in a book by the owner of the uhandbag site. I guess I'll try it myself. It seems way cool.

Decor Bond is a Peltex interfacing that I often use for handbags. You can find it at Hancock, Joann, and Walmart. It would be a reasonable alternative if you decide not to order the Decovil.
