Does anyone own one of these? It looks like it is made by Juki from another of the ebay "sharp" guy's pics.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/JANOME-COVERPRO-fits-CLAMP-ON-TAPE-BIAS-REEL-HOLDER-/290723354718?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43b076585e

I saw the pictures of skye's homemade one which looks nice! It sure seems like a great tool for doing bindings.

I guess this one would clamp on the table, but would it sit high enough? the base of the coverpro is about 4 and 1/2 " above the table surface. So it probably sit high enough?

I use an empty toilet paper core and wrap my bias tape around it. I place it on an empty cd spindle and raise it to the level of the CoverPro stitching area. Works beautifully and cost nothing!

For that price, you could come up with a home-rigged setup of your own that works as well for $0, and have that money for fabric.

As you can see, the height of the reel should be adjustable.

this one looks like it can be adjusted quite high.

Some of them look flimsier than others. You'd think that the industrial suppliers would offer a product that could stand up to abuse. Alas, no--one of the two pattern notchers I bought has proven disappointing, though I can't quite remember which ebay store sold it to me.
