Whenever we review patterns, we're supposed to put the number of the pattern for easy searching. But what if the pattern doesn't have a number? There are numerous people out there releasing PDF patterns, not to mention some of the smaller pattern companies, that simply aren't numbered! So how should these be numbered? Should we just make them up?

I admit I'm doing tons of reviews at the moment--I had a three week marathon in which I made about 14 outfits for my two nieces to take to Florida with them, and I was five patterns behind (birthdays) before that. Three of the patterns I want to review don't have numbers. One is a Petite Poché and two are PDF patterns from different places.

Do the patterns have names? Style Arc patterns don't have numbers, but they are named, and you simply put the name into the appropriate window.

If the pattern isn't in the database here, then you can still link to the download, or take picture of the envelope, and link to that - it shows up as "added by member" or something like that.

Wow! Fourteen outfits in 21 days really is a marathon.
